If you are approaching from the Main Entry then the closest platform to you is platform 1. Reach there first by going through the scanner. After that whichever platfrom you are trying to approach can be reached by using the foot-bridges available.
Warning: Do not cross railway lines to reach any platform in the quickest way. It is illegal and dangerous. Found in attempting the same will put you under the custody or you will be fined.
